Aw, I love the little mystery/lover of all things dark. You sound like a natural teacher Jordan. I am not surprised as you were also the kind of kid who drew all kids to you.
This is beyond wonderful for me. I am currently trying to engage a small group of kids (and their grandparents) in a digital book club because our devices have robbed so many kids of the literacy skills that they would normally gathered by grade 4-6. As you are a great reader, the book I’m using is “Harris and Me” by Gary Paulsen. A real treat if you have never read.
Sometimes it’s the simplest things in life that provide the most happiness. And children often provide those moments. Thank you for such an uplifting article! 😃
You sound like the best teacher ever - LOVE this piece, Jordan! So happy for you!
