One day, I’ll tell you why this event was months in the making, an amend that still doesn’t cut it, and a baby step to hopefully greater meaning and connection.
In the meantime, I’m rounding up a few media appearances I was honoured to take part in last month — not because I’m peddling my stuff, but because the response to some of these interviews has been overwhelming. I really do love talking about the disease of alcoholism, my never-ending and crooked journey, and some clarifications that might help soften the stigma.
I enjoyed talking to every province’s CBC weekend radio host, and appearing on the CTV national morning show out of 299 Queen Street, where I once catted around as a MuchMusic producer. The Globe essay that kicked all this off was one of the Top 5 Most Read in 2024.
