I’m not that great at being serious or sincere at the best of times. But here goes…
It has been so heartwarming that some of you take time out of your day to subscribe and read my newsletter silliness. It means the world to me, because I love writing.
Big shout out to the incomparable Grant Lawrence for his constant encouragement.
I will be offline for 2 months starting tomorrow. They don’t allow laptops or phones where I’m going. Just paper journaling. It’s a top-notch place, and I’m very excited to have a spot.
I think you can fill in the blanks where I’m headed. It’s time to get another spiritual and sober oil change.
The whole point of this navel-gazing post is not because I think my stories will be missed…but I feel very responsible for the kind people who subscribe to The Chase, and the many that even pay to read it.
So I will make it up to you financially and entertainingly when I’m back home. That’s all I wanted to say. I take your support very seriously.
In the meantime—listen to good music and eat cool stuff.
